On the tilted grate in front of the entrance, the texture makes it look like the grate is a wall, but when you jump on the grate, you don't land on the wall.\

Thank for the video but - why is that called an infinite jump? I've probably done that thousands of times in the years I've played the game, including once in your chamber, and did not know it was called that. I love some of the Portal terminology, like "edgeless safety cube", but there does not seem to be anything infinite about that jump. Of course, a cube is not edgeless either.

I do not know what an infinite jump is but I found this test very easy. Did not use the first cube. I Enjoyed it though.

That mechanic is called the Infinite Jump, not the Infinite Fall.
