SR-A League (Retired)
8 items
Description
Dreamtecht is an Canadian car manufacturer founded in 2025, often seen as heavyweight champions throughout the SR racing league, being a permanent fixture in the series. They developed a variety of products that reduced the amount of vehicle-related injuries and deaths, their most notable of their products was their STL sedans, Tungsten series of crossovers and SUVs and their patented shield generators. They were often generous, meeting with other companies to sell their shield technology to them.
The rise of anti-gravity technology saw shareholders shifting from automotive industries to AG development. As the years went on, the SR league faded into obscurity, and many car brands and teams either readapted or filed for bankruptcy.
Dreamtecht had a bit of interest in participating in the early AG leagues, to put their shields at the mercy of ships rigged with weapons.
By the time the SR-A league was announced, they finally perfected their shields, and put the AGX chassis into the competition.
The AGX ditches most of their firepower in an effort to fit their shield generators into the side hulls. It can still pick up weapons like normal but they are considerably weaker compared to the rest of the competition.
The most notable event Dreamtecht had was the battle for the main pilot position between the team's newcomer Mitsubi Nisao and an anonymous pilot dubbed "SIR2" by fans.
SIR2 flew with an aggressive racing style due to the craft's potent shields, even going as far as slamming contenders into a wall. Where as Mitsubi had joined Dreamtecht shortly after departing from Ochari for unclosed reasons.
The battle took place in Dragon Bay, with Mitsubi taking the victory after SIR2 totalled their craft directing all power to the engines.

As for the debut of the AEC later on in the league, other than SIR2's aggression being permitted against them, Dreamtecht noticed that the AEC had their ships equipped with weapons outlawed by the SR Administration, particularly a more potent plasma bolt and a beam that transfered shield energy from the victim to the user. Dreamtecht promptly reported it to the league officials, to which they intervened after numerous incidents involving the AEC had occured.
Dreamtecht stood their ground for nearly a century in the SR racing league, and with new teams about to enter the league soon, time will tell if the company can keep itself together.
