Clawhammer Mk.III IFV

The Clawhammer Mk. III is the Infantry Fighting Vehicle version of Hammer Mk. III and as such has the expanded interior area of all previous Clawhammers for additional passenger seating, or removal of passenger seats for additional space. The Clawhammer Mk. III changes the weapons layout from the H3 Panzer by removing the artillery turret and replacing with 3 more forward facing mounted miniguns, and all minigun turrets moved to a forward position to make "strafe-combat" tactics more viable. 6+6 minigun mountings all focused in the forward arc provide cover for the rearside mounted, upper tier weapons turrets, also facing forwards. Strafe attacks should be enhanced by this arrangement.

The Hammer series of hover tanks is inspired by the series of novels Hammer's Slammers by David Drake.

Update : Clawhammer Mk.III IFV requires Alpha 8.1 to use as Hardened Steel blocks all replaced by Combat Steel Blocks, overall armor enhanced greatly
