Resident Evil Remake - The Spencer Mansion (Map)

Description
Requires Counter-Strike: Source to be mounted.

Map is located in the "Sandbox" tab under the name "GM_ResidentEvil_SpencerMansion"

Maaan, I love the old Resident Evil games and this map is one big nostalgia trip.

Let's get into it. First off, I'm not the creator of this map. That would be a fellow by the name of "aeris004" - who has'nt been heard from in many years. May his legacy live on.

This map is a Source version of the Resident Evil/Biohazard REmake. I'd say it contains about ~65% of the game's locations. Don't let the 65% worry you, because this map is HUGE. It does require Counter-Strike: Source (but who the hell doesn't have that?) and it is configured for the Zombie Escape Mod. It is fully functional in Garry's Mod, and I took it upon myself to spend a day adding AI nodes to the map. Because let's be real, why would you make a Resident Evil map and NOT fight zombies in it. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I have and if there's any issues with the Nodegraph, let me know.

Oh also, this map is part of a trilogy and I will be uploading the next two maps shortly. They will feature the entire RPD from Resident Evil 2, as well as the Underground, Sewer, Filtration Plant, Tram Station, and part of the Labs. Alligator not included.

PS. Nextbots are currently not supported. I had issues with the .nav mesh getting through to the workshop.

bro im sick of only seeing these be available with CS:S im pretty broke but i was able to get it, hope this map is worth it

I would love to see a remake of this purely built for npc spawning and fighting purposes and exploration with either accurate puzzles or minimal puzzles or no puzzles at all and no invisible barriers etc.

Right now these maps are not in the most functional state.

However they are really cool gems! Resident Evil 2 Gmod Edition campaign is actually fantastic and works well and is fun start to finish.

I loved exploring the mansion though, i wonder if there is any other good mansion zombie horror themed maps on workshop?

i'm having a lot of fun with this map, it's fantastic! but i wanted to ask: are you intended to go in with a crowbar/weapon, to break down the few doors that are breakable? or do you receive a weapon somewhere in the map itself?

I need more instructions as to how to access the rest of the mansion. Definitely a good find however.

Zinv for ai noded maps is great for dynamically spawning Resident Evil npcs around Resident Evil ai noded maps like this. Thank you author!
