I'll see if I can spruce up the transition areas too :D My aesthetic tastes for Killing Floor is usually that I want everything to look gross and grungy and creepy but a little bit of pretty here and there can be nice too. :)
It's been a few years since I've touched the KF1 SDK so I might be a little slow but if I can improve things, I'll put out an updated version. I'm currently working on a map for Killing Floor 2, but since both you and Freya encouraged me to make more maps for KF1 I hope to do so sometime!
You don't know how refreshing it is to see a sensible reaction to the poster - Sometimes I feel hopeless about the KF community, fearing that it's just dominated by hateful little children. Hearing that your friends found it funny gives me hope. :)
I'm glad the item pickups were helpful! I know running out of ammo can suck so I like to always put lots of it around -plus I feel it's a good way to keep players moving and encourage exploration.
I think it has a nice setting and the layout in general is cool. The free chainsaw allows someone quick access to top tier weapons by wave 2 after selling it (quite generous lol), and I noticed there's a lot of armor and ammo spawns even on hell (again, generous :D). We found the fenced in campfire area a decent campsite for hell on earth, altho with all that armor laying around and the amount of space to run around the main building, I'd assume kiting would be much easier. The only issue we experienced was some buggy movement around the water/pond area next to the campfire area. And if I were to nitpick, the floor where it transitions from outside to inside where the doors are doesn't look too pretty, but I don't play this game expecting pretty so its w/e lol...anyway. Great map, had fun, well done and please make more! :D
Hope you find this helpful, friend
