Description
///// F-INT Scythe Mk II \\\\\

///// Description \\\\\

While the Scythe Mk II looks like a mere upgrade to the venerable Scythe Mk I, the Mk II is in fact a completely new design. However it maintains many of its predecessor’s key features, such as the fierce armament and excellent handling. The Mk II also makes improvements, such as the addition of an outside jumpstart reactor and cargo access. This allows the Scythe to now be operated from any location, the fighter is no longer bound to a landing pad with connector facilities. The Scythe also received a proper landing gear for this purpose and slightly heavier armor, albeit this improvement still leaves the ship with less than average protection.

Hades Driveyards decided to upgrade an older design instead of commissioning a new craft because of her predecessor’s outstanding performance that many DRO Navy pilots swear by. Other advantages were that no new construction facilities needed to be built, and that crews who had previously worked the Scythe Mk I could easily be retrained for the Mk II version.

The Scythe Mk II is said to become HDY’s premier ground- and carrier-based multirole interceptor and will surely live up to its legacy.

Ah alright good to know!

It can't take a hit very well and gets incapacitated relatively easily, so a pilot needs to maneuver to evade fire. Luckily, the Scythe can do that just fine.

A glass jaw?

Quick as hell, yeah! Also nice that she can slow down almost as quickly as she can accelerate. That being said, the Scythe still ahs a glass jaw.
