Confirmed, there is no need to delete any files, simply unsubscribe from the Workshop item and it's gone ingame, and the game is *immediately* ready to go.

Unsubscribe to the mod. Go to Steam > Steamapps > Workshop, then use the search function to find and delete ONLY the folder named after the following mod ID.

Mod ID: 1301938703

DO NOT do what Wicker said, otherwise you will lose all mod data, for every single game that you have on steam.
