The lava falls of Karak Ungor

Description
After the cataclysm caused by Nagash, the once impenetrable Karak Ungor was broken, fissured, and the hordes of the red eye goblins harrassed it ever since.

This map is an underground citadell with a lot of bridges. The weather can be a bit variable, so if you got weird lighting issues or fog/rain you can just restart the map. Enjoy!

You can play it in sieges Karak Ungor (Dwarfs)


It is an older map, so there are still some errors in it (too chokepointy bridges)

Added some siege elements to it so now you can either attack the walls or pass the bridges. The AI as expected will mostly use the bridges even with our efforts to change that.

this map has terrible AI issue and deployment issue.

if you are out of ideas to make this map work here some suggestions:
_make sure there is a no deploy zone around the defender deploy zone like in vanilla maps. (or draw a good perimeter so no wierd deployment can be made)
_link attackers deploy zone (may not be neccessary but just in case...)
_AI react to walls and gates on a siege. put walls and gates near the 3 bridges. enlarge those bridges so siege towers and ram can pass.

thing is when you work like 60 hours on a map you begin to hate it at the end, and going back to it always feel like an annoying chore to go back to it and test around forever to find what's wrong, when you could be doing new stuff. Especially when the bug appearing were not there on testing before. I'll try to get to it tho

I understand, just wanted to point out some issues. I hope everything is alright, and I completely understand. This is all free work you're doing, please don't feel rushed. Take care of what's important and if you find the time, great, if not no worries. ;)

tbh, I have no idea how to make AI work, that's other guys from the team doing it for me. And neither they nor I have time atm, real life is kinda taking it's toll lately

This map definitely needs to be revised. Units belonginng to both player and AI get stuck on the left wall. If you try and use a siege tower units will not disembark on a portion of the wall. Units are capable of running through the destroyed fort tower that is on the left wall as well.

CA really need to set the AI to attack the player from all sides. That way the siege feels much intense and less cheesing.

Yeah i had loads of weird AI issues when i was defending, they only used the bridges to run through my enemies to then walk out my broken gate and try to climb the singular sets of ladders on the walls. If they had attacked me as usual i would have lost easily, but i slowly whittled them down as they walked across 1 unit at a time. While they had 2 units of black orcs standing still on the walls getting killed by my quarellers.

Dunno what you're talking about, they did behave pretty good in all our test. Attacker or defender, what where the issues, some actual details?
