Description
ENGLAND (ATHELSTAN)
Trait: Witenagemot
Completing a Campus or Holy Site District grants +1 Era Score during a Dark Age, +1 Envoy during a Normal Age, or +1 Governor Title during a Golden Age. Can construct one more District than normal when a city has both of these Districts.

Agenda: Cult of St. Cuthbert
Believes that Faith and Science must be pursued together, and respects civilizations that feel the same. Loathes those that privilege one over the other, unless they are in a Dark Age.

Had a fun game with this, but as others have posted Witengamot not working as intended. Classic to Medieval jump netted me an instant 16 promotions, and 18 envoys. The AI civ's did not love me taking all their suzereign titles from them lol. Defiinitely wouldn't want to go against this civ in a high difficulty game.

I'm playing with Dramatic Ages - and I've fully promoted all the Governors prior to the Industrial Age. Witengamot seems to kick in when the age advances, it's definitely OP.

Unfortunately your mod doesn't work for me, I don't know why. Is weird white on all your mods.

Just played a game with this civ.

When I moved from a Dark Age to a Heroic Age, I was given an insane amount of envoys -- equal to my current number of already-constructed Campuses and Holy Sites.

Is this a bug or is that working as intended? Every new I was gifted the bonuses over and over again, allowing me to fully promote all Governors before Industrial Age and have fully control of all the city states.

love the mod, played it lots. Thing is whenever age advances get witenagamot bonuses applied again. Having full govenor abilities, silly number of envoys or era points nice - but a bit op! Can you look at his and see if there is a fix?

I would say that this deserved to be its own english civ, rather then being lumped in with the british civ as a unique leader. The sea dog/royal navy dockyard and british musuem trait don't really fit.

Great mod. But please bring back your Wales civ! It was really piece of exellence. And it could be a great game with anglo-saxon England, new Scotland and your great Wales on a pangaea map.

Excellent mod. I'm about to embark on a game as Athelstan and really looking forward to it!

Is the standard I use for my mods.
