Hochland Long Rifles!

Description
The Hochland long rifle, also known as Leon Todmeister's Fantabulously Far-reaching Harquebus of Unforeseeable and Unperceived Bereavement is an experimental weapon designed by the Engineer Leon Todmeister.

The Hochland long rifle was developed from the long rifles used by the hunters of Hochland. These weapons use barrels which have been rifled or grooved, which makes the lead shot spin in flight, in turn making the weapons highly accurate and giving them a range unsurpassed by most other handguns (with an effective range that is half-again longer than the standard handgun). On the battlefield it is often used by marksmen as a sniper rifle, where it is particularly effective at neutralising specific targets from afar.


This mod adds Hochland Riflemen for the Empire faction as well as their unique RoR variant.
Notable stats:
  • Very high range and burst AP damage;
  • Apply "shield breaker" contact effect on hit;
  • Vanguard deployment and Stalk;
  • Double the reload time and half of the unit size of Handgunners;
  • Campaign and custom battle cap: 2. Cap can be increased by building T4 and T5 Forge buildings.

Unique Regiment of Renown: Brichtoff's Marksmen
  • Overall superiour stats compared to regular riflemen;
  • Added anti-large bonus;
  • Slightly faster reload speed;
  • Vanguard deployment, Stalk and Snipe attributes.
  • Campaign and custom battle cap: 1.

The units are balanced for vanilla. Should fit SFO balance fine, however if there are still some big balance issues, tell me what's wrong and I will upload SFO submod.

They are missing from the custom battle units table, you can get around this by downloading RPFM to mod it, run the RPFM and set it up by following the github page instructions, then open this mod pack file and open the units_custom_battle_permissions_tables and add a new row with the entry wh_main_emp_empire_mp_custom_battles_only in the faction column. This will enable them for custom battle.

Lots of unit mods seem to forget this but you can always do this trick to fix it. It is tedious and annoying however.

can you make them an elector count unit for hochland?:) it would fit great
