Description
The average Skyrim mod will either add something new to the game, or fix something that is broken... This mod does neither of those... Wait...why would I want that? You may ask? You probably don't, in all honestly, but for some they don't really have a choice. For some Skyrim is unplayable on their computers, and they can't enjoy it like you or I. That isn't fair, and I want to fix that.

What this mod does is remove extra elements from the game that are deemed uneccesary, in an effort to improve framrates slightly, and to make the game load a little faster. So if your game runs at an unbearably slow pace, with massive lag, and sub-par frame rates, then I extend an offer to you. Try my mod, see if it helps.

My plan is for the mod to cover every town and dungeon, but this will take some time, as of right now only the following areas are affected:

Whiterun
~City Interior
~All Shops, Facilities and NPC Homes

Markarth
~City Interior
~All Shops, Facilities and NPC Homes
~Vlindrel Hall
~Cidhna Mine

Solitude
~City Interior
~Proudspire Manor

Riften
~City Interior
~All Shops, Facilities and NPC Homes
~Honeyside
~Ragged Flagon & Thieves Guild

Windhelm
~City Interior
~All Shops, Facilities and NPC Homes

Falkreath
~All Shops, Facilities and NPC Homes

Winterhold
~All Shops, Facilities and NPC Homes
~College of Winterhold
~Midden & Dark Midden

Miscellaneous
~Sovngarde
~High Hrothgar
~Abandoned Prison

With many more to come!

In all of these areas you can currently expect to see a small frame-rate boost, at the cost of some prettiness. However, this will only be noticable if you were suffering poor frame-rates beforehand, and will likely not make a big enough difference to some people.

Final Note:
The plan of this mod is to cover all of Skyrim, every city, building, and dungeon. I will probably make a version for Dawnguard and Dragonborn areas as well. If your game only struggles in a certain area, Riften for example, and you don't want to make the rest of your game look worse, then I would be happy to make a Riften only version, just ask!

*This mod is in no way intended to hurt anyone's feelings, the phrase "Poor Man's" is just that, a phrase.

I'm super curious on running this mod, since i'm subscribing for a lifetime already. My pc went down some weeks ago and I decided to play oldrim in my granma's laptop. Installed as normal and all those mods I've subscribed ages times got downloaded auto. The problem is, I have no idea what's the name of this mod on the list, if it is really there, coz i'm subscribing Arthmoor too, and the mods aren't on my list. :steamsad:

sorry for asking but your kind of vague, this mod only removes certain items that are deemed unnesisary but what do you mean by items? do you mean interactables or just stuff like rocks and plants, some tables and lights?

This was super nice of you to make this. I really appriciate it. Changed a few settings to make run a lot better prior to getting this mod, but I've noticed a shorter loading time.

Thank you again, this is a great mod.

phantom, maybe you should just set your graphics to lower values like medium or even low. cus i dont rly think this mod will help with this since objects that cant move are just part of the world so (almost) dont affect your fps, but hey who am i to tell you this? just a guy with a slow pc. that is all

This might be cool if my laptop can't run Skyrim (haven't even tested it yet, mostly just been getting all the immersion and gameplay mods I can first without effecting performance).

Good to know someone is looking out for the little guys, though.
