The Somtaaw Deep Space 'Recon' Mk II

Somtaaw's legacy in the Beast Wars was great, but moreso due to having excellence intelligence on Beast movements and locations thanks to the famous 'Recon' Scout ship. However, a new era requires new skills, and the Recon need a heavy refit to meet new requirements for Kiith Somtaaw (namely exploration and the ability to operate independently of a carrier).

Kiith LiirHra took a quick look at the airframe and made several changes, making it have improved boost speed, searchlights, weapon upgrades, and even it's own mini-manufacturing capability to survive in hostile environments. More importantly, it also allowed the Recon not only to explore deep space, but also potential habitable planets for a Somtaaw Colony. Needless to say, the redesign was widely popular for more than just Kiith Somtaaw, as other Kiiths made several orders to upgrade their scout ships to this new multirole design.

This ship is good for:
-POI attacks
-Exploration (warp capable!)
-Solo ship with build/survival capabilities

This ship is not good for:
-PvP
-being a long-term mobile home
-carrying other people
