Camp Omega

Description
This map is based on the "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes" map, Camp Omega, which was based on the notorious Camp Delta, in Guantanamo Bay.

Prolouge
In 1898, during the Spanish American war, the US seized Guantanamo Bay and estabilished a naval base. Five years later, in 1903, Cuba gave them permission to use the land as a coaling and naval station.
During the Cold War, on the 26th of July 1953 a revolution officially started in Cuba, with Fidel Castro leading socialist guerrilas against the government lead by Fulgencio Batista, friendly to the USA. on the 1st of January 1959, Batista was overthrown and Fidel Castro got into power. This lead to extreme tension in the Americas because a socialist nation was born next to the USA's doorstep.

On the 17th of April, 1961 1400 Cuban exhiles launched an operation to topple Castro's regime, the "Bay of Pigs Invasion", backed the CIA, who sent 5 000 of their best men and the US Airforce to help. Cuba sent in 225 000 soldiers and 9 000 armed police against the enemy forces; the invasion failed.

On the 16th of October 1962, Cuba agreed with the Soviet Union (USSR) to put nuclear missiles in Cuba, in exchange for its protection. This caused fear around the world of the start of a nuclear war, until on the 28th the USA and the USSR came to an agreement that the USA would have removed its missiles in Turkey and the USSR would have removed them from Cuba. They had also agreed that the USA would have not interviened in Cuba, but the sanctions continued. This is the closest the world has ever been to a nuclear war.

The border between Cuba and the US territory of Guantanamo Bay was mined, so that anyone trying to cross over would have died. While the USSR was dismantled on the 25th of December 1991 and with it the cold war, the Cuban regime never ended. Fidel Castro died on November 25th 2016, Augusto Pinochet's birthday, but since 2008 his brother Raul has been in power.
Tension around this area still continues to this day.

Notes
In the Metal Gear game, the facility is available in 1974, but the real Camp Delta was built in 2002, made to contain the most dangerous prisoners.
In the real Camp Delta there is no real free time, nor can you walk around the prison. However for the sake of gameplay it has been changed.
Once they add an outside gym, i will change the area and make it more fitting to the theme.

Hints
Be wary of your surroundings, Camp Omega is designed to get you in trouble.
Keep track of the ventilation systems, Guantanamo is a very hot area.
Some places in Omega are being renewed, therefore are under construction. Use this to your advantage.

If you REALLY want to make the internet a better place, you create, not remove.
But of course, you'll carry on making even MORE responses, denying what i have said claiming it as false, while saying that i am an abusive spammer with your careless attitude to what i am saying. There is no final reward for what you are doing, and making threats to report someone will not get you any further.

You are 25% right, 75% wrong. I always leave comments on various maps, questiononing their security, idea or general plot, sometimes saying where things could be improved. I went through a lot of the prison pages i commented on. Once we uploaded our prison i started making invitations to it to see what people thought, not to mention some people shared a similar "theme".
You aren't "improving the internet" (which is a pointless task anyway), you aren't helping, you aren't suggesting, you aren't creating, all you have done so far is to have created a banter thread practically no one cares about other than me and you, because you have this idea that i (and my friend) are abusive users of Steam who apparently exploit other people's work, and that you are the white knight of this conversation who will stop this "abuse", when you could be doing things far more productive than this.

Do I care? It is the same as advertising. Like I said, I do not care if you advertise on social media or not, but you do not put down some nonsense on my map and say "Is perimeter breakout possible? Check out my new map" This is DEFINITELY advertising and I do not see your point of defense at all. Since neither of you can convince me, I'll just report it. Have a nice day.

Continue with your reporting threats and caps lock, using the "I DEMAND you stop or i will report you" only makes it sound contradicting, the "Report" option is public, it does not give you superiority. If you are that determined to start some Crusade, you're going to have to report en masse around 50-150 people.

@calplus Woah, the ultimate internet policeman here.
It was a side message asking people if they wanted to try out our new map, not forcing them on gunpoint. "Taking advantage of other's work for your own benefit"? I was helping people with their maps, i just asked if they wanted to try "ours". Did you see anyone saying "You are abusing me"? No, the opposite happened, if not, you would not have seen them in the first place. It is not up to you what has was said & posted on someone else's comment section.
Using your logic, i could "Report" you for "defamation", since people are going to find this page, scroll through the comments and people are going to take your word as me being an abusive bully, but i never will, because it was not your true intent, neither was mine to apparently be a "villain".

BETA TESTING ONLY NEED 10 PEOPLE AT MOST, AND YOU JUST GO TO RANDOM MAPMAKERS MAPS AND JUST COMMENT ON THEIR MAP THAT YOUR PRISON EXIST? NONSENSE! I HAVE EVEN SEEN PEOPLE DMing OTHERS TO BETA TEST!I DON'T MIND IF YOU ADVERTISE YOUR PRISON ON YOUR OWN SOCIAL MEDIA, BUT DONT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OTHER'S WORK FOR YOUR OWN BENEFIT! @calplus We understand your point, however, we only asked people to test it, and avoided posting it on outlets where it was not wanted. And not one of them complained, in fact, the opposite happened. So far, the only one who has been “upset” is you, even though you have no reason to, because not on Steam or social media anyone said anything, so you aren’t defending any noble cause, nor are you involved in it. If you are that bothered, you can click the “Report” button any time you want. Oh, and don’t worry, no one is doubting your intelligence.
