DM_City_Street_Medium v2

Description
This is my remake of the Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield map called City Street Large. I named it medium because it doesn't have the underground portion. It can be played in Deathmatch and Arms Race.

This is the second version, mostly for testing purposes. I haven't added most of the props, or cleaned up the map boundaries, But it's certainly playable.

Check the change log at the top of the page to see the latest changes! When I've finished putting in everything, and fixed all the errors. I will remove the v# tag on the title.

I will always be open to suggestions! Please feel free to leave a comment about any concerns or ideas!

I never finished this map. It's considered abandoned. Sorry.

@Nim (Part 2)

But yeah, I LOVED this map in Rainbow Six 3. It was my absolute favorite. Me and my friends would make up so many game types to play with, and City Streets layout allowed so many oppritunites.

My favorites were VIP, basically the Terrorist team would try to kill the VIP on the defenders team, which is similar to many of todays game mode, but was fairly scarce back then. Everyone could pick an assault rifle of sorts, but the VIP could only use a pistol. Round ends when Terrorists were eliminated or the VIP was. City Street had a lot of places to defend from.

Another favorite was Porch Wars. Basically, neither team was allowed to leave the porch of their respective bases, meaning you had to snipe from the porch or windows. No sniper rifles though. Made for some fun games, especially funny when we all tried to do it with shotguns.

@Nim I'm having trouble with the SDK tools not working, and I'm not even sure if I still have the map files, and I'm not sure if subscribing will give source files.

If I am able to recover it, at the very least, I'll get the above ground properly polished. Such as decorations, make the map boundries less obvious, fix the sound spheres, and most importantly, fix the damn nav map.

As for undergound, making the rooms themselves will be easy, since they were barren in the original game anyway, however I'm rather anal for the measurements, which would take a while.

Now this is a blast from the past, would be great if you did manage to complete the underground segment still great job though!

You should release another version with the underground portion. I have trouble with enemy spawns happening in the room I'm in on deathmatch mode. Very cool though, love this map. I would like to see what Winter Chalet would be like for hostage rescue in Counter Strike...
