Sacrosanct - Vampires of Skyrim

Sacrosanct overhauls vampires and vampire lords. Reverse progression (stronger when fed), new abilities, powers, perks, hemomancy, various new progression systems and many gameplay tweaks for the discerning undead monster.

Vampires get many new abilities and powers. They can force others to obey spoken commands, walk on water, expend blood to resurrect themselves, and much more.

As time passes without feeding, your inner Beast takes over and those abilities and powers are replaced with penalties and more feral powers: bats to attack your enemies, the ability to enter a frenzy at the cost of lasting weakness until you feed, and feeding on a victim will kill them... which is both a blessing and a curse. A thirsty vampire is prone to frenzying involuntarily and may not even be able to heal herself... When blood starved, onlookers will immediately attack you!

To get a brief reprieve from the Beast, feed on sleeping victims, as well as victims affected by Vampire's Seduction. You also have the option to drain sleeping victims, killing them instantly but permanently strengthening your vampiric form.

Each race has its own unique vampire ability, from polished scales that ward off sunlight when wet to the ability to unleash locusts on your enemies.


Buffed and reworked Vampire Lord form. You do not regenerate Magicka in magic form or Stamina in melee form, creating an incentive to switch often, supported by new spells such as Maelstrom, which sucks enemies into the centre and sets them up for melee form cleave attacks!


Overhauled the Vampire Lord perks. There are 31 perks, each easier to unlock than vanilla perks. Some of them buff Vampire Lord form, some buff mortal form, some teach new abilities or powers or allow you to gain Vampire Lord experience in mortal form.


Drain enough sleeping victims to learn the magic of the blood. Seven wicked Hemomancy spells for use in human form: make enemies sprout thorns, explode their body or decapitate them.


Feed on Skyrim's strongest individuals to learn seven new abilities including protection from sunlight and the ability to walk among mortals when blood starved.


Spend time as a vampire and drain victims to eventually advance in rank, earning the right to choose between thirteen new abilities and powers, from sneak and combat feeding to the power to call victims from across great distances or teleport at will.


Potion of Embracing - Vampire Dust + Flawless Ruby - Grants Vampirism.
Potion of Hemomancy - Vampire Dust + Briar Heart + Fire Salts (x2) + Moon Sugar (x2) - Advances Hemomancy progression. (Requires at least 1 Hemomancy spell.)
Potion of Thirst - Vampire Dust + Void Salts - Become thirstier.

Incompatible with vampire gameplay overhauls. Can be added if you are already a vampire, but many features will only activate after you feed again. Preferably added when you are not a vampire.
