@boyscoutwizard While the current map editor is better compared to the first one in UI, the fact that it forces you to have certain types of rooms lowers the overall creativity; i mean, they could have at least gave us the option to change the decorations in them. it also makes everything looked squared, making a lot of maps look the same. Though, it might have been added because they didn't want people exploiting them. What they should have done IMO is to have given us the premade assets without the tiles, decorations or walls, so that you could have made them all different and expanded them, instead of everything being rectangular.

I like the look of the prison, it looks like alot of work was put into the symetric appeal. Can't say I do many reviews but ill give it my best shot. The prison seems to have a large amount of the automatically generated rooms. do away with those if possible, hide them or implament them. Like the roll call area with the dome, it looks great! you implamented it into the map of your own design. but the random rooms off to the side make the map look a bit...bland? anyone can copy and paste a room or structure to fill space. If you want to improve your maps, build your own rooms, buildings, and just do away with the default ones if possible. I only use whats required for mine. Otherwise. the map looks great. has a good feel, and plenty of escape routes for freedom. Keep it up :)
