Description
Star Trek 50th Ann Collection Blueprint no. 9 of 50

Hey everyone, I present the second of three (pre-park) preview blueprints for the Star Trek Theme Park Adventure. This is a high detail reproduction of the famous runabout. This version also includes enhanced hull shielding that was installed shortly before the Dominion War from 2373 to 2375.

Believe it or not, this small runabout carries a building piece count of 1181, that will help explain the amount of high detail that went into replicating this blueprint model for Planet Coaster. Ship build does not use any dlc. (There is a small block underneath the tail end. To rotate freely, remove that block after entering edit building mode).

About the Rio Grande

The USS Rio Grande (NCC-72452) was a Danube-class Federation runabout assigned to Deep Space 9 in the 2360s and 2370s. The Rio Grande was one of three runabouts offloaded to DS9 by the USS Enterprise-D in 2369, and the only ship to be used for all 7 seasons without being destroyed. (ST reference: Encyclopedia). The Rio Grande became one of the most famous runabouts in 2369, when Commander Benjamin Sisko and Lieutenant Jadzia Dax took the Rio Grande into the Denorios Belt and discovered the Bajoran wormhole that led to the Gamma Quadrant. Sisko later used the Rio Grande to tow Gul Skrain Dukat's Galor-class vessel back to the Alpha Quadrant. (DS9 episode: "Emissary")
