{ DISCONTINUED FOR PERSONAL REASONS }

Miss the beta human ship that got removed later in development, or you want to know what it looked like? Look no further because this mod adds in a fully functional and updated version of the beta ship, simply because the beta version didn't have stuff like a teleporter room, so I added one and kept the looks intact and consistent.

There are only 2 tier types to this ship, the small one going from tier 0 to 3, then the larger one from tier 4 to 8. There's also two additional shiplockers on the 4th tier. You can upgrade the ship to tier 8, but that only adds more crew member slots, so whether it's worth the investment of pixels or not, that's up to you.

I might eventually made a 3rd tier to this ship, but for now I wanted to make this ship at least usable and updated to the current standards of Starbound.

Anyone can modify/re-upload these files. No credit needed. Just don't try to take credit for the work I modified myself :P

I always really liked the look of the beta human ship because of its resemblance to a NASA-style space shuttle.

thanks for making this! i missed this ship when i did play as human, i prefer glitch but i used all other races also. i prefered this ship, great job dude!

@max I know some Wiki's have screenshots, And just using basic Copying you could use those as a base for the background that is lost from the files you found. Am also sure a lot of people would love for the mothership to be back in some sort of way. So maibe if lucky and like how you add the teleporter to this ship, maibe an artist will come and help? Again, most people dont realy look at the art for most mods out there. Some even just have weapons or consoles that look like they made it in 10 min paint job. And some are indeed amazing and have fancy animations.
Again, I alwaise say. This is something you want to do, see it as a personal project that you want to see finished. The road can make you learn more, and in the end it could make a good thing to show off.

@VictorianGaming I found out how to download the old files using steam depots and decided to make the human ship functional. I’ve actually finished the functionality of that gigantic mothership too, but I wanted to add some art to the internals instead it being empty black space. I could upload it too if people want it before I get anywhere with filling the space lmao. Honestly I’m not good at pixel art, so I’d might as well upload it eh? ;P
