SDN-09 M20 Providence 10K (Freighter)

The Providence class 10K freighter is a military grade freighter. With a 125k shield and mounts for plenty of guns, this ship is much safer to use in warzones or near frontlines to other freighters. It is relatively fast for its size, but there are still better ships for hauling larger quantities of cargo.

This design should work in the default "Normal Mode" scenario, but has not been tested. It will work in the Free Play scenario with building limits turned off if this is a problem.

Due to a bug with Middle Block Snapping on sloped surfaces like Edge and Turret Edge Base blocks, specific Grid Spacing values are required on Local Snapping depending on the size of the hardpoint you are trying to mount certain size turrets to. Here is a table with the values I have used:


If any of my designs do not allow turret placement with the above Grid Spacing values on Local Snapping, please post a comment on the design's publication page as I may have forgot to update the turret edge blocks for some.
