Description
IMPORTANT:
I am no longer working on this mod, so there will be no future updates. I'm leaving the mod public in case anyone else wants to pick up where I left off, or are otherwise inspired to make their own. Original description remains below.


Description
New pre-scripted empires from the rich universe of Foundation by Isaac Asimov. Explore the world that inspired the likes of Star Wars and Warhammer 40k, and alter the course of history and the Seldon Plan as the Galactic Empire, the First Foundation, and many others!

This mod is a fork and update for Stellaris 2.0 of Foundation (Empire Pack) by ArcaneData.

I will try to keep the mod updated, and add more functionalities.

  • Union of Worlds

Other additions:
  • Unique AI for all empires
  • 3 extensive name lists based on characters and planets in the books
  • Sun background and spaceship flag symbol
  • 3 new traits (Mineral Poor, Stagnant, and Mentalics)
  • 3 custom starting systems based on Terminus, Trantor, and Kalgan
  • 3 new tile blockers for Trantor and Kalgan, including the Galactic Library
  • Earth system adapted (always spawn as Tomb World)

  • Traits overhaul

  • Add civics (miniaturization industry, gigantism industry, gaian utopia)
  • New empires (Aurora, Gaïa)

new fan from the appletv adaptation, was looking for mods based on either the books or the yv series, tho th arent many, does this work with the current version

greetings, foundation enjoyer here, the mod sounds really well done and the comments confirm it, but i see it's only updated to 2.1, would you please update it to the lastest versions (2.8/2.9)?

You sure can, the best is to push on workshop only a translation patch, but work the way you want.

I can try to find some times to update the mod.
But 2.2 changed lot things for planets and i will need also to find descents modifiers (special buildings, empires)

For now i'm working on the next update of my Paradoxos Mod Manager.
