Description
the second room to my visual playhouse, here i was looking at how waves could be created, and if so could you change their frequency and / or amplitude, and I have done both, with the front wave having a different frequency and ampltude to the rear wave!

good wave map.
1 problem, 1 of the spheres left the faithplate:

it may need ajusting, or the map may have been corupted when uploading ?
if it was, publishing it again, without updating would probably solve the issue.
or could have been corupted when I downloaded it.
in which case will not affect anyone else.
good to see it from different hieghts.
I bet this took you a while to calabrate.
thunbs up.

oh thats a really good point, I will look into that at some point! you can get a really low wave frequency like that and have more speres creating the wave! hope you liked being able to see it from different perspectives as it changes the visuals of the wave a lot...well I thought it did but that could just be me!

Have you tried releasing the cubes from light bridges rather than droppers? If it works, I see two advantages. First, light bridges have a lower entity cost than cube droppers. Second, as you can adjust the position of a light bridge within a basic tile, you could get higher resolution in the wave shape. Thumbs up again, by the way!

glad you liked it, I am loking at incorporating this idea into a puzzle fairly soon, like a visual timing aid that differs from the counter of a pedestall button!

the best of them

, the outgoing ripples are then disrupted plus you send out secondary ripples from the impact of the first and last ripple until all the last traces of the previous ripple pattern has vanished then the ripple pattern can create a single undisturbed ripple until that then bounces back...and so on, so although this is possible and i will look at creating a chamber that will showcase this in the future, the visual effect of the wave would not be as continuous as it is here.

that is possible, but has to be done using strength of faith plates, instead of keeping a constant rhythm and wave form, the only problem with doing it this way is that the wave becomes disoganised when swapping directions, and it looses form...imagine a ripple in a confined space such as a bowl or mug, when multiple ripples are created the first one hits the side of the container and bounces back, thus disrupting the flow of all other ripples until the final one which gets to flow back to the point of origin freely, now imagine the ripples start again at the exact same time the final ripple of the first set reaches ground zero

thanks for the warning. I know you were looking to do a spacific thing here, but if each wave changed from one side to the other and back again, and so on that would be cool.
