Expanded Roster - Balanced Stress Heal

Description
Now Updated for Color of Madness! Increases Roster size by 25% to 35 with an additional upgrade tier. Decreases idle town stress per heal from 5 to 4. Appropriate for Darkest and Stygian/Bloodmoon difficulties. Compatibility: Not Compatible with other mods that modify the stage coach, should be compatible with all class mods including new classes.

@justaLinux-pleb guarantee the stress heal adjustment works (tested extensively).

Yes, I did not address the dialogue for upgrading the stage coach past stage V, don't think most people care (it should give an empty string) providing appropriate text strings for that feature would have negatively impacted the compatibility of the mod.

you can add another upgrade by basically repeating the changes I made, compare the files in this mod to the base game files and you should be able to see what to do to add another level.

There isn't really a hard limit here, although I think going more than one level further might start to negatively impact the appearance of the UI.

So far a great mod, but i'm not sure if the stress heal even works though, havn't paid attention honestly.
Btw the message you get on the journal is "bugged" after you upgraded the stage coach hero barracks.
Also is there a way i could add another possible upgrade to the hero barracks? I'd really like even more space on my roster, but i don't want to just basically cheat.
From what i have seen your mod is the best in that regard since it's actually not overpowered because you have to pay resources in order to acutally get access to the benefits.

Completely forgot I posted this, seeing as I solved the problem. For some reason, some mods made the level 1 hero chance in the config files to change to a lower value, causing only level 0's to spawn. Just resetting the value fixes it.

@SharpDressedMan : you should get level 0 recruits sometimes even with the upgrades, it's only ever a chance.

if you've seen _no_ >level 0 recruits for 6+ weeks I'd still suspect whatever mod you add the most recently (e.g. cataphract) but afaik it doesn't modify the stagecoach so I'm guessing you just had a string of RNG.

Now this might just be a coincidence, but I noticed that as soon as I installed the Cataphract mod the Stage Coach started just giving me level 0 recruits, despite my upgrades. Could this mod be the issue?

@nmrr : the error you are reporting has nothing to do with this mod, the error you got is reporting an issue with an animation file for the Flagellant class.

If you do not have any mods that affect the artwork or animations for flagellant you should validate your game files / delete and reinstall through steam. If you do have mods which affect the artwork for flagellant, please direct this bug report to those mod maintainers.

broken for me, can't escape the town : when i load a mission it says :

then

Hope it can be fixed ?

@everyone; now updated for 23917 (June CoM patch build). they changed the structure of the stagecoach building def. have updated the mod to comply and verified it works in a fresh save. Hopefully that fixes everyone's issues, thanks!
