3x3 Block Placement Radius

Description
The unchanging 2x2 radius for placing blocks sucks.

So I changed it.

This mod will do exactly what it says, it changes the radius for placing blocks to 3x3.

I also made a few other versions:

4x4 Radius

5x5 Radius

6x6 Radius

7x7 Radius

50x50 Radius

Subscribing to more than one is not a good plan. Stick with a single size at a time.

To use this in multiplayer, the versions of both the server(or host) and players need to match. I have no idea what the results will be if they are not.

you should make a mod for the manipulator to be able to change through all of the radius sizes

It just has to be switched. Where it says 2x2 you say 1x1 and where it says 1x1 you say 2x2.
Swapping done.

Workshop data for Starbound downloads to Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\211820.

However, adjusting this mod will not manage what you are looking for. This mod does very little in that it only changes the radius for the default block placement size. It is actually a very easy change in that it only a single data value is changed, however I personally do not know if you can swap the default and shift-held placement sizes.

I won't say it is impossible, although it might be as the engine is somewhat rigid, but I also have no idea how to do so. You would have to ask a more experienced modder than me for an answer in that regard.

I would like to switch the block size 1x1 and 2x2. so I can always build 1x1 and with "shift" 2x2 or whatever.
I would like to edit your mod, but I can not find the workshop mod in my starbound data. how can I accomplish this?

And by the way, thank you for your work.
But could you please explain how I edit the config that changes the block size? Thanks!

no.. it upgrades mining...

Upgrading the MM only increases the mining radius, nothing in the base game ever changes the radius for placing blocks, nor can it with the current way the game engine functions.

2x2 does exist, you have to upgrade your MM...
