Description
About mod

Wonder why do Canterrans have the same weapon as Argons? Miss for classical Starburst Shockwave Cannon and Electro-Magnetic Plasma Cannon? If the answer is yes, this mod is for you)

Terran weapon pack aimed to add old terran native weapons to all Canteran ships. I didn't find any gides about weapon effect modding and thats why I used stock projectiles for the new weapons. Feel free to comment, especially about balance and errors.

Compatibility to Canteran ship pack (CSP) and Conquest and War in Rebirth (CWIR) added.

Mod MAY be incompatible with other mods, changing vanilla De Vries ships turrets.


Weapon list:

- Starburst Shockwave Cannon (SSC-turret):
Dps - 3600
Range - 6000 m
Fire effect - Xenon HIVI/MA turret projectile
One projectile per shot, area damage, Plasma/MA turret replacement

- Electro-Magnetic Plasma Cannon (EM/PC-turret):
Dps - 1400
Range - 3400 m
Fire effect - Plasma/MA turret projectile
Two projectiles per shot, HIT/MA turret replacement

- 'Snowslip' Anti-ship Missile Complex ('Snowslip' ASMC) - V Launcher replacement, no changes


Also sub-systems at several ships were chaneged:

- Sucellus - 2 Hailstorm/MA Turrets to 6 EM/PC-turrets
- Lepton - 4 EM/PC-turrets added
- Sucellus Vanguard Destroyer (CWIR) - 1 capital shield added
- Lepton Armadillo Frigate (CWIR) - some turrets remlaced, 2 Plasma/JET LR Turret added, 3 mk1 small shields added (now it really valuable but thick ship!)
- Karion (CSP) - 2 mk1 small shields added
- Turret position for several CWIR and CSP ships was corrected (do not hang over ship surface anymore)


Future plans:

- Rework all Canterran station weapons
- Add new station for ammo and weapon production (weapons and missiles)
- Rework projectile effects (if someone explain how)

I'm not sure if it's issue because of this mod or ships pack.
When using Ragnarar game hangs up after short time.
I did not have this issue before I used this ship. All works fine with Ragnarok.
I'm not sure if this issue is related to ship (ships pack mod) or to weapons it uses (this mod).

I thought it's enough to know the shipyard and what there is produced.
No idea why Egosoft made some entries in ship description not clickable.
One of misteries of this game :D

I guess so.
For me it's not a problem. I have already all in spreadsheet (glad to share if someone needs it) :)

As I understand, you won't have entry about turret in encyclopedia until you scan this turret at any ship in space or buy ship with this turret for yourself

I mean for example LO/LB Turret.
But now I can see it's entry in encyclopedia.
I think it was unaccesable untill I bought Ragnarok. It is not accesible through ships description.
Or maybe I should visit shipyard again after installing mod. Not sure what exactly happened.

Anyway thanks for this mod :)

Started new game recently, without REBalance (actually because of this mod but nevermind).
Did not buy anything yet but I can see that all is buyable in DeVries and is described in encyclopedia :)
Using also ships pack.

Possible to make descriptions for new turrets in game encyclopedia?
Hard to handle it all - 2 mods + encyclopedia. Meanwhile I synchronise it all in a spreadsheet :)
