Era - 1990s - WCW

Hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Dave Finlay made his name in Europe and debuted in WCW in 1995, calling himself the Belfast Bruiser. Finlay's sound technical approach paired with a meat and potatoes brawling toolbox made him a midcard threat. He hit his real stride as Fit Finlay, winning the WCW TV Title and reguarly put on strong performances in the company's secondary programs, including WCW Saturday Night.

Finlay's tough side would be accentuated late in WCW's life, as he would win a Junkyard Invitational in 1999 and compete in the Hardcore division.
