I just recently got Crusade to work for me... turns out my PC can't run more than 19 players in a 12-player galaxy ( otherwise crashes during galaxy creation, BUT with 4GB of RAM still free... which is confusing - otherwise I'd have found the reason earlier ) .
Considering how many species/factions I so far got from the workshop, that means I'll have to leave out a lot ( I actually set the NPC's, since I otherwise couldn't make species-specific AI-settings... I want some lower- and some higher-set AIs on the map, and it would simply be hilarious to encounter e.g. an easy Borg-player :/ )
As for annoying bugs - now that the game is fully 64-bit, there's REALLY no sane reason why the lists ( ships+species ) aren't fixed... :(
( the bug where after a certain amount of items, all further ones are neither displayed nor selectable... )
