Description
The Bonewerks is proud to present, Higher-Quality Staves!

Officially the first modpack produced entirely within The Bonewerks Devpack. Ready for its own public release. Thank you all for the continued interest as well as the commentary given in discussions!

The Staves
  • The Iron/T1 Staff is now a gnarled wooden wizard's staff. I kept the original jewel BYG drew as a nice little tribute and I think it looks great in the fork.
  • The Titanium Staff is now a narrow staff with very little embelishment. Fits the lightweight properties of titanium.
  • The Blood Staff is now based loosely around the bloodscourge staff from HeXen: Beyond Heretic. Skulls/Skeletons rule, so now this staff has a skull on it.
  • The Gold Staff is gaudy and has a huge diamond on the end of it.
  • The Glass Staff is loosely based around a Khakkhara. I felt the idea of a singing staff would be even better in crystal so this is what I ended up with.
  • The Obsidian staff now houses a gigantic eyeball that opens and glows as your combo increases.

-To those still reading. The next packs to be released will be "HQ Tomes" and "HQ Daggers". Both of which can be previewed in the main development pack.

I'll be straight with you. That yellow apple is literally just a golden delicious, since that's my favorite apple. I even sampled the colors for it from a stock image on google.
I am however intending to do enchanted food. I just don't know how to mix it up outside of the HUD hearts right now.

These look sweet. In the future (or if you already have, no clue) you should make adjustments to magic foods. I think that's what that golden apple in the preview image is, and it would be really neat to see other variants that really looked more "magic" than the base game offered.

Thanks, I appreciate the compliments. The obsidian was actually the staff that took the most design changes to settle on. Originally it looked a lot more egyption before I settled on this.

I like all of these, but the creativity behind the obsidian one is really cool. Nicely done.
