About the Beta Units Mod

This is a Collaboration between me and Callistonian, using my collection of various remade + ported units from Pre-release versions of Age of Mythology. All units have been, or were planned to be in the game at one point: Norse Heavy Cavalry, Norse Hirdman, Norse Light Cavalry, Norse Archer, Egyptian Chariot, Egyptian Archer, Donkey Trade Cart, Trojan Lighthouse, Rock Formation, Egyptian and Norse Scouts Several units in this pack are ported over from the now deprecated mod "Back to the Beta" from Age of Mythology Heaven, whilst the rest have been remade.

As with all UMC packs, these units are only acessible through the editor. This mod does not alter any original game files. REQUIRES UMC HIGH PIORITY.

Hi! Is it possible to fix the missing textures on some units, like the Hirdman for example?

It's an issue with AoMEE's workshop connection, try unsubbing and resubbing.

for me the chariot and the hirdman seem to be missing textures, both appear as fully black models

Unit models ported from the Multiplayer Alpha, where done so with 3ds Max, and a program called AMP by a guy called Tasev.

Why can't I use this units in the normal game (against KI) ? Can I only use them in the Editor ?
(I have installed UMC High Priority and put it on top of the prioritylist)
