It''s not for anything newer.
You most propably need to adjust anything from adding Shields, CPU stuff and other things!

RACING-HOVER for Jenniphurrs new Challenge at the main Forums[empyriononline.com]!

My Formula-1 Racer TYPHOON wasn't a bad Racer...
but for Open World Dakar Racing... I need MOAR POWEERRR!!

That means, first taking a Mustang, then removing all unnecessary Stuff, and lastly add more Thrusters and RCS instead!
This is the Result.
A pure Power Machine!

Even with additional Survival equipment (Ventilator, O2, O2 station) it has:
main thrust of 38 m/s², lateral of 13 m/s² and pitch/yaw of 7.5+ deg/s²!!
(and tuned up for speed, it's got to main 55 m/s² and still a good lateral 9 m/s²!
with using the back free area, it even can get to main 64 (!!) m/s² and normal lateral 8 m/s²!
- to compare, my standard Mustang Pickup has only some main 11 m/s² and lateral 8 m/s²!!)

  • There is room for some upgrades or changes in the back ;-)
  • Alternative back with Antennas
  • and even can be upgraded with Guns for DEATH RACE style Challenges!!

one of the pics that have the gun pod's reminds me of that movie death race ......hey now thers a race all we need is a base track will death head traps like in the move that wood be fun play to play in:steamhappy:

Welp, this is why I prefer to make cars in Space Engineers. I have a few cars on my workshop if yall play that game :3

;-) there's no gardening area nor bridge nor engineering section with warp nor medical bay nor hangar... and I needed to fill that somehow ;-)

I just like that car, shape, performance, sorry I just *had to* take so many pics...

@Masterbaiter: oh yes, *real* wheel physics would be a blast! Sadly I don't think that will ever happen as there are much more important features that needs to be implemented first!

@SilverFire: yes, that could be another Tuning option, but normaly I don't think that would be allowed in the Challenge Races...

Wish they added wheels w/ same mechanics as bike wheels as a T1 form of movement whereas hovering'd be T2. Food for thought.

ps this also meens you can go across deeper water longer than others w/o sinking

try putting a few downward thrusters it makes it so you can glide off of drops like mountains or dropship instead of no controle falling. in a race this meens you can glide over that forest while everyone else must navagate it lol. I have this concept on my rapid assault hv's and it works suppriseingly well. unless this against race rules ofcourse. idk

Small Update: Replaced the Fridge with a Ventilator and made the Cabin air tight and oxygenated for Racing on harder Environments!
