Description
This Mod introduces a Deluxe version of the Infirmary to Surviving Mars. This replaces the 'stock' version, and is essentially identcal except that it now offers two powerful new Upgrade options, and now operates during all 3 shifts by default. The upgrades are unlocked from Mission start (like many of the building upgrades in the 'Tropico' series).

The first upgrade is the extremely useful 'Family Planning Clinic'. Unlike most upgrades, this offer 'dual mode' functionality, effectivlly allowing you to toggle between two abilites. When 'ON' it operates in Neo-Natal mode, further decreasing the Birth Comfort required for the Dome. However, when 'OFF', it operates in Contraceptive Mode, hugely increasing the Birth Comfort need of the Dome (effectively preventing new Births). Switiching between the modes takes one shift to take effect.

The second upgrade is the 'Matrian Therapy Unit'. This grants visiting Colonists a small Sanity boost in addition to the normal Health boost they recieve. It slightly increases Power consumption.

The Mod will not work on previous saves. On loading, your existing Infirmaries will be named 'Deluxe Infirmaries', but the upgrades will not be available. As such, this Mod (and other [ES] Deluxe Buildings) should be used with new games.

[KNOWN ISSUE: The Build Menu and its tooltips still list the new building as 'Infirmary'. However, on selecting the building (and once constructed), it will correctly appear as a 'Deluxe Infirmary' on the panel at the top-right of the screen.]

I have the same problem in the building icon window of the UI it is blank. I build the building and it shows normal in the game, just no icon.

all of your buildings are really rather helpful but NONE of your buildings icon (picture) show up.

@Wingnut - if you can let me know any more details about waht isn't working, I'll see what I can do. Everyone else seems to report the problems as having resolved.

I'd recommend maybe doing an unsubscribe, restarting the game without my mods loaded, and then resubscribing. You might also try a cleasn install of the game...?

@Adil3tr - The skinning (or not) is a function of how they made Mods work... it's not something taht can be easily changed. Da VInci meesed wit ha lot of Mod stuff too, so not sure how it's behaing for everyone!

This mod works wonderfully. You can have the high birth rate when you need it, and control it when you have too so you don't have colonists running around homeless and committing suicide. So yeah... absolutely essential mod in my opinion.

@admbraden - You can use both together, but it's somewhat redundant. I consider this the more advanced and realistic option, while my earlier Mod is a very simple fix for those who don't want to use Building mods.

So, should I use this over "Births require Infirmaries" or can both be used at the same time?
