Personal Thoughts:
It's hard to believe this was the first map I've ever published back in April of 2017. To be frank, this is a remake of the original if you wish to play the original Click here.

Remaking one of my first maps ever was quite the journey back to my younger self. Crazy to think my high schooler self originally made maps cause there no other maps out there that were very hard and challenging. Albeit my interpretation of difficult levels were my original releases. Very unfair, full of BS moments, unbalanced, & wasn't keen on taking criticism.

However, through the natural process of maturing and learning, I eventually corrected what I originally released. And slowly learned why I keep coming back to this level editor to make maps or correct past mistakes. Sure the majority of the people are gone but that's not the point. My personal goal is to make maps that visually eye catching, yet have the same effort that was put in the visuals towards the game-play. A great combination of the two that leads to an almost trade mark feel, I guess. I'll keep on trying and improving my style since there never really is a perfected master piece.

- Night after night, they'll come and fulfill their inner deeds mixing with a numbing blue ashy seed. Another night, another knock who will see to unlock the door? -

Especially the non-booted one I remember with dread and I did complete both but I found them unpleasing experiences. I spent some time thinking about this level, for example the reasons why would anyone put immortal Bartenders in their level and so. Once I returned to replay the level with the stealth-puzzle mindset, I think it 'clicked'. Playing the level as an open-ended "clear all enemies" was the wrong move.

The sniping part has no stakes whatsoever, so it felt vapid to me. I liked the look of the level there though and wished I could have actually played in it.

That trap on the elevator door is pretty high on the bs scale. It's easy enough to disable when you come out of the elevator. Most of the time the enemies seemed to trigger it. What bothers me is that even after know about it, I have a really hard time seeing the darn thing.

This is a good level I think, but I find it an extremely obscure choice to have it as the first level of a collection.
