Description
Adds the Palace of the Kings from the Elder Scrolls series to the game as a buildable Wonder. Only tested with GK + BNW enabled, and thus only that version of Civilization V is supported. I do not claim ownership of anything belonging to the Elder Scrolls series.

Balance suggestions are welcome, of course. Also, any ideas for effects of any future wonders are welcome (see link under 'Planned Wonders').

Troubleshooting
If you subscribed, but it doesn't show up:
1. Turn off the game.
2. Delete the Civ5ModsDatabase.db from Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache.
3. Launch the game and go to the mod section again.
After waiting for a brief period, all missing downloads should initiate and install!

If that didn't work, try this:
1. Go to Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS
2. If there is a .civ5mod file in that folder, open that with 7zip, Winrar or similar software
3. Unzip/unpack the contents in Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS

I have about a hundred mods lol but its rare theres any conflicts, almost all of my mods are wonders

So, I tried to replicate the bug, but I can trade just fine after constructing the Palace of the Kings. Maybe a mod conflict? Did you activate any other mods? It's a bug I've never heard of before, too.

I tried out this mod and for some reason it breaks the diplomacy tab, the things you can trade like resources, gold etc are simply missing. I'm not sure if its because it requires a great general; as Ive never seen another wonder mod that is dependent on a unit. Blue palace works though :D

Wonders which create unique buildings could be nice too like if it creates a bazaar which is unique to saudi arabia. I liked that about your musicians guild wonder since i was able to have two at the same time. Other tile improvements which don't get much attention are mountains and ice so you could make a mountain wonder like cloud ruler temple with mountain tile improvements if you wanted.

It might be too advanced but I always thought it would be cool if there were mercenaries in the game, like if you made a wonder for the briarhearts of the reach or paid gold and it spawns a group of barbarians in enemy cities like when your cities are extremly unhappy.

Yea. The temple of Miraak is pretty cool too. I think it would be neat if there was a temple of Miraak that made the free slower version of workers that the dragon age tevinter mod has. You could add religious promotions to units like the faith defender promotion to a temple of the nine. Another idea I liked is the knights templar mod where it spawns units every 10 turns, you could have a wonder spawn a unit unique to elder scrolls like a cultist/dark brotherhood assasin/penitus oculatus agent which could add an additional spy or a unit that has the great prophet/missionary ability to go into enemy borders. If you wanted to make a balanced economic wonder you could also do something like -10% of something for 30% more of something else.

Thanks for the suggestions. Do you mean the Dragon Priest temple on Solstheim? I considered that one as well, but as it is in an incompleted state in the game, it may be hard to find/make proper art for it.

Didn't think of the Mythic Dawn HQ, may be worth considering! That snow effect may be nice for Castle Kaarstag.

thx will update. suggestion for future mods if you are looking for ideas is maybe to use some of the ideas from the game of thrones castle mods. Like castle winterfell and casterly rock have neat effects. you could make a castle dour other other castle mods. I always thought that the dragon priest temple and mythic dawn HQ in elder scrolls oblivion were cool. If you had a winter themed castle that increased production and food for snow tiles that could add a new dimension to the game or add existing promotions like two attacks per turn. just a suggestion :)

nice to have you back, i loved your MODs. the blood promotion for volkihar one though for units themselves doesn't work but all the others still work perfectly
