Description
¡Bienvenidos a "El Centro de la Vida" Instalaciones genéticas! Welcome to the "Center of Life" Genetics Facility, the premiere venue for your genome manipulation, bio weapons testing, and studies into various branches of genetics, kilometers away from the nearest government oversight! Located somewhere far off the Pacific coast of México and built upon a tropical, unmapped archipelago, this top-secret facility’s personnel have been hard at work developing the worlds next weapon of mass destruction.
The Eagles have caught wind of the plan and has sent in their marines, only to be met head on by a Raven sponsored mercenary group. If our heroes can’t fight the Raven scum out of the facility and off of the island the whole world, as we know it, may be doomed!

This is a CQC map with some midrange focusing on infantry combat. Watch your angles, flash in, and check your corners.

I started making this map on March 25 and have pushed myself to learn a bit more since my first map, “Meteorite Isle”. Along with an ungodly amount of tweaking, building, and photoshopping, I tried my hand at Blender to make a few models for the map in the form of computers and books. I also looked into lighting the space during night time to make the map look better.
From this map I learned that I can’t build everything within Unity, as the whole facility is made out of cubes. Not only was this confusing to me during editing, it made it really hard to keep my “Hierarchy” clean and textures didn’t look good on my walls. For my next map, I am going to attempt to build the whole thing in blender or another software before hand to cut down on space. As my second map for Ravenfield, I am proud of what I made, although, I definitely see that I can improve and do better. Like my first map, please tell me any way that I can improve my map making or improve this map.
The number of objects in this map forced my hand in making it as big as I would have like. Originally, I wanted five capture points (CPs) over a main island and two themed island bases, but due to the level of detail I strive for, playability in all game-modes, and technical limitations due to my map making method, I made due with three CPs within the one building. Next time, I will give a little more planning into my layout.

This map will take a moment to load, averaging between 20 and 30 seconds for my PC. The map is balanced in favor of the Raven mercenaries, but my tests have seen shifts to either side based on spawning. Regardless, I spent way too much time balancing the sides and it should be even through the majority of most matches.
On the topic of spawns, Haunted works very well on this mapa. You will need to search the area for your new gun at the beginning of each round. If the anomaly is located in the Medio Building you will have to check both the first and second floor. Shrines can spawn on either floor, so look out for its light. Also, you can jump on top of the roof, but your team mates cannot and will die without you. Good luck! >:D

GAME MODES:
The map works well with all game modes. In my testing I used 50 bots respawning after 25 seconds. Explosives were not tested, except for the stun grenade. Here are my recommended settings:
- POINT MATCH: (DAY) Around 50 bots, respawn timer set to half the number of bots. (NIGHT) 40 bots or less, respawn timer set to half the number of bots.
- BATTALIONS: Same as Point Match.
- SPEC OPS: My preference: night time, no friendlies, hard mode. (Totally recommend a “Jolt” only match.)
- HAUNTED: Hard mode with bot count set to 40 or less. Again, your new gun is somewhere, you just have to search the anomaly for it. Try not to be afraid of the darkness and keep your teammates close. ;p

@CeaTea that's what I feared, I am no good with Unity. I tired the avoidance and collider boxes with the in-game editor, but the bots refuse to acknowledge them and run straight through to the vehicles. Regardless this isn't a help forum so I don't want to clog up your comments. Thank you very much for the help though!! Once again amazing map, just like all the others!

It's been years @Siskenator, so I'm a bit fuzzy on the details. The effect was done in Unity, as I could place the vehicles outside of a capture point and anywhere that I wanted. It can be done currently useing a path finding blocker to remove the navmesh/pathway to the vehicle. It should be a big red cube in your editor. Hope this helps :)

I don't know if you would even remember, but any chance you could tell me how you made it so bots won't try and swim to the vehicle on the runway. I'm making a map and want to have the player's vehicles visible but not accessible, like you did. Amazing map btw!
