Description
I was looking to test how mass fighting works in Kenshi but to my surprise, I found no mod that gives an army. So I created my own. You have 2 new starts: Holy Armada (HN) and Empire Armada (UC).

Advantages of using this mod:
- You start with 5 predefines squads (1st squad is your main cohort, 2nd and 3rd are your defensive/heavy forces and 4th and 5th are your support/archers assault squads)
- All the squads have a leader (the 1st character in the squad) who is automatically followed by the rest of the squad members. This makes combat and movement easier on the battlefield.
- Most squads are accompanied by animals.
- All enemies will be attacked on sight automatically
- Food will be a pain in the rear, but I have added Ration Packs to general HN and UC combat squads so your armada can automatically loot the food from their corpses. I do recommend you crank Hunger up to 8 when you start the game since constantly feeding an entire army is difficult. Your armada might also ravage towns for food if there is any to be had.
- Your squads will automatically heal and help allies and also pick up your leader if he/she is down. You will have to buy additional heal packs from town when you run low.

Downsides:
- The squad scripts can only be run in the predefined squads that you start with. The moment you create new squads and move your units in them those units will not follow the default scripts anymore. But you can rename the predefined squads!
- I did not change the vanilla values of the characters and it is possible they will spawn with lower stats.
- You will have to make sure your archers have ammo because there is no way to replenish/loot this automatically at the moment.

I set the squad size to 50, though every squad has 20 max characters in it for easier management. Make sure you don't have other mods that lower this global value and put this mod last in your mod list.

Starting location for HN Armada: Okran's Fist
Starting location for UC Armada: Bast
Armada size: Circa ~100 characters. I don't recommend customizing all the characters at the beginning of the game :D
Starting cats: 100.000
Diplomacy: Both factions hate each other <3
Dificulty: Easy and Epic (aka: Cheating like a Pro)

Make sure your AI formation is set to Millitary in the game. Tell me what you guys think :)

I can't really remember how I made this mod, it was rather a long time ago, so I think the squads are automatically assigned from 1 to 0, but I might be wrong on that!

capt_tr3m you can't really stop the scripts, because they are assigned to the squad. You would have to edit the mod file to remove that script pack. Sadly, there is no way to control this action in the game.

Hey Fox if I change the squads will that get rid of the scripting for the healing? Currently doing a UC playthrough and went to a UC town and my units all rush to the slave shop and try to heal the slaves, any idea on how to stop this?

newbmc glad you like it. You really don't have control over that aspect as they are automated AI packages/behavior that applies to standard NPCs in game. The development tools is very limited in what could be implemented as a gameplay mechanic.

Fox mate,
First thank you for making this I used the Holy Nation start to create a clone army and Jedi and pawadan leaners, after awhile I forgot about food but I did set up a base in cannibal lands to work on training and feeding them. I did edit all of them, 4 Jedi masters, 4 Iron Knights, 2 squads of clones (501st and 212th) with the Clone army (this took the longers to customize), the rest were left as pawadans
I was wondering if you can have a default third party Armada with no ties to the Holy Nation or United Empire just due the fact I need to get blueprints from both sides and the Armour King hates me. If not all good, I'm going make another using the UC as my Dark side army.
