High performance using just stock components.

Export variants of DCA ships adapted to use only standard, commonly produced, and broadly used components.
The ships themselves focus on mobility, versatility and firepower, vastly outperforming analogous standard designs (direct combat ships are routinely tested at 5:1 numerical disadvantage against analogous stock designs).

Typical features include:

• High-thrust engine setup
  
• Delta-v budgets in line with core designs
  
• Masses and costs in-line with core designs occupying similar niches
  
• Relatively light, but steeply sloped, surface-hardened armour
  
• A lot of reactor power (for stock designs)
  
• Large selection of diverse weaponry
  
• Backup RTGs allowing allowing cold running (and spoofing incoming missiles with relatively modest decoys) or total reactor loss with CM and conventional CIWS retaining power
  
• Redundant, refractory material CM radiators
  
• Multiple reactor groups to avoid easy knockouts
  
• CMs clustered around center of gravity for improved spin tolerance
  
• Unique visual style

Following features have been dropped but remain an avenue of interest in DCA design philosophy:

• Polygonal hulls combined with specialized RCS setup allowing fast rolling as well as reorientation
  
• RCS setup encouraging avoiding exposing armour flats, even when broadsiding

Following features have been dropped and are not expected to make a reappearance:

• MethLOx RCS and "afterburners" allowing rapid manoeuvres and dodging (switch off to conserve oxidizer)

NOTE:
Creating "licensed variants" of the ships listed, refitted using own custom modules is allowed and encouraged (including sharing them on workshop) as long as the originals and their author are credited in the description.

Performance warning:
Stock 60mm cannons firing at long ranges and jetissoned droptanks can cause enormous amounts of lag.
To prevent it tick off the auto-jettison option for all droptanks while in combat and use 60mm cannons udiciously instead of always ignoring range.
