DFC Starhawk IT 3 (modless)

During the Imperium war, the Starhawk line, which was the mainstay of the DFC's fighter craft, proved to be deficient in a few areas that made it easily countered. Primarily, it was vulnerable to enemy turrets, but the spread of its weapons, and low amount of them, made dogfighting the Dreadfighter used by the Imperium, a bit of a challenge.

The third itteration endeavoured to solve some of those issues. Moving the guns to the nose, and thus allowing more hits on target from both of them, the small target the Dreadfighter posed was now easier to deal with. Decoys were instaled in the wingtips to provide limited protection to automatic targeting, as most fire aimed that far from the main body could be dodged. The spotlights were an extra feature, used for maneuvering in asteroid bases with no sunlight or on moons during the night.
