reduced_particles (v.2)

Description
This mod removes particle effects to help improve the game's performance. This includes: atmospheric fog, clouds, smoke, and dust, breakable effects, certain lighting effects (god rays, etc), death effects, strike effects, gibs, effects on item drops, water splashes, weather effects, bugs, falling leaves, and dust from footsteps.

Just uploaded to my account and for others if they need it. Atriaus/Midnight

Is it possible to remove atmospheric fog, clouds, smoke, and dust, breakable effects, certain lighting effects (god rays, etc), selectively?

As in what if I want to keep everything, except the fog?

Great help on my anemic laptop. Took it from barely playable to pretty good. Thanks! :zcrystal:

Sorry for the dumb question, but what's the difference between this one and v.0 ?

@Balthomas Probably not, being as the mod system and multiplayer only allow players having the same active mods running so there is not any incompatabilities between other players.

Would there be a way to play multiplayer games with people running this mod without using it?

Hmm cool.
Hit affects and auras distract and annoy the crap outta me, good to know they are removeable.

Star-X: probably be best to load it first before others are loaded.

One question I have: does this need to be loaded in a specific order to work? For example, on top of everything so that nothing overrides the particles? Or is this mod not load order dependant?

I'm using the reduced particles edit version, btw. Noticing a lot of effects that should be gone according to the list still appearing.
