Description
Advanced LOD mod

Mod allows you to increase the range of rendering objects on the map, in particular the range of drawing the grass.
Increases the load on the computer, but allows you to avoid the awfully weak drawing of grass in the original.

In the screenshots you can see the influence of the mod on the original game, as well as on the game with the Bitfa modification or Robz.

Can be used with other modifications.

I figured it out. I copy the level_of_detail.inc file into \resource\set of whatever mod I'm playing or replace it with the one that I find there and it works. Replacing or editing the original file in \Men of War Assault Squad 2\resource\gamelogic\set works aswell.

In general, in theory there is no limitation, perhaps the file is overlapped by some other file in the pat file or something like that. For tests during the creation of missions, I sometimes prescribe large values to view the rendering of grass, so you need to try.

Is it possible to extend the grass distance even further, or is this the maximum? I changed {GrassDistance ("scale" d(16000))} {GrassFadeDepth ("scale" d(16000))} in level_of_detail.inc, but the grass drawing distance did not change.
