Starting a New Map

On the Main Menu, there should be an 'EDITOR' that is located just under 'MAPS. Select it.
Under File in the top-left corner, select 'NEW LEVEL'.
Give your level a name, an image 1024x1024 px wide and smaller than 1 MB, and music in the file format of OGG
You can use any sort of music converter, I personally recommend Audacity as it's free and simple.

Controls

Controls:

Mouse Wheel or Arrow Keys to move the caret (blue line).
Edit > Play or F to Play / Stop
Edit > Delete or DEL Button to delete the nearest event.
Right Click on an event to delete it.
Edit > Record or R Button activates recording mode.
WASD or Arrow Keys to create an event.
Left Mouse on an event allows you to move it.
Control + Mouse Wheel to zoom.

Shotcuts:

Control + Z - Undo
Control + Y - Redo
Control + MMW - Zoom
Control + MMB - Reset Zoom
Control + E - Event Config
DEL - Delete
F - Play / Stop
R - Record
E - Add Event
C - Checkpoint

Creating a Map

To create the level, you need to begin recording. Once you're recording, you can press the WASD keys in rythm to the song you have chosen to create events.

Custom Background:

Thanks for MeltDown's comment on This Discussion Page.

If you want a custom background in your map first find a background (with a resolution about 1920 x 1080) then go to the editor and click:
-EDIT
-Level resources
Here you can add custom resources to your map
In Resource ID: Put a random name and below of that, find the background that you want in the map and finally click in ADD
Then go to the editor and add a event with the key "E" and "CTRL + E" To edit the event, click the option "Show imagen"
In Resource: Write the name of the Resource ID you wrote before
Position: - 0 Background
Check the box - Keep aspect ratio
And obviously the duration depends of you

Map Config

Edit > Level Config opens a window to edit the level's information.

Under Info, you can edit:

The level's name.
The level's description.
The level's tags.
A URL redirect for more information.

Under Gameplay, you can edit:

Speed
Starting lives
Max lives
Adjust the enviroment
Hide locked level and give an unlock condition.

Under 'Icon & Music' you can edit:

Upload a new icon.
Upload a new music file.

Notice: You should save your level before uploading a new icon/music file!
