「ユルト」ライフサポートポッドは、基地および主力艦が緊急事態の際の非常用脱出手段として設計された。小型で生産性に優れ、漂流や近隣の惑星に不時着した状況における最低限の生存性を短期間、確保する設備が備えられている。気密は保たれている一方、空間を確保するために装甲厚を削られているため、対弾性は最低レベルである。
