Chivalry PropHunt

Description
PropHunt comes to Chivalry!

What is it?

Two teams:
One is Props, they become different objects (like barrels, crate, toilet, etc.) (even animals!) and try to hide on the map among ordinary objects.
Another is Hunters, they wait until the Props are hiding and then go out to look for them.

How to play

As Hunters, you must track down all the Prop-players and destroy them using any means necessary. You will lose health when attacking. When you hit masked Prop it starts to scream.

As Props, you must hide (quickly!) before Hunters come to hunt you down. You must survive until the time reaches 0.

TIPS:
  • Stand up on dispenser to regain HP and ammo, once per 30 seconds. For Props the ammo is replenished only if you are the last player.
  • For Props: press RMB to enable PropLock, allowing you to look around safely.
  • Peasants are spectators, they are not the goal.
  • If you hit an object and it screams, then probably something is wrong.
  • Fire arrows can help you easily spot the Props.
  • Look carefully for your current health points. If they become too low, it's time to visit the dispenser.
  • Last alive Prop player gets ability to fight back!
  • Big Props get less damage than small
  • The largest number of scores Hunters get for killing Props

Important server settings
NOTE: You should create separate server for this mod only. Because as i see you can't change/disable mod through maplist.

Here are some server settings that are important for the mod to work correctly:

How to run

More detailed instructions:
For dedicated servers:
  1. Click on "Library" in Steam, choose "Tools", download "Chivalry: Medieval Warfare dedicated server".
  2. Open the folder where it was installed.
  3. Find RunServer.bat or create it by yourself. RMB, Edit, and change parameters you want.
Here is an example of parameters:
@start Binaries\Win32\UDKLogging.exe TO2-PH-Stoneshill_v1_12_P?steamsockets?modname=PropHunt -dedicated=true -QueryPort=#### -seekfreeloadingserver -sdkfileid=1375588743
-QueryPort=#### -- Changes the query port Steam uses for this server
Console Events

ce spectate - Allows the admin to spectate
ce DoEndRound - Ends current round (don't call this during round starting process)
ce KillAll - Kills all players
ce killpeasants - Kills all peasants
ce BlockPeasants - Kills all peasants and enables gate at spawn (locking peasants at spawn)

To people finding issues running this mod

Delete this folder/s:
*YOUR_DISK*:\...\Steam\SteamApps\common\chivalrymedievalwarfare\UDKGame\CookedSDK\PropHunt_*...*

And this file/s:
...\CookedSDK\__CMWSDKFiles\PropHunt_*...*.cmwsdk

If the above described didn't help:
  1. Delete everything from \Steam\SteamApps\common\chivalrymedievalwarfare\UDKGame\CookedSDK
  2. Subscribe to this mod in Steam Workshop.
  3. Wait until Steam finishes downloading.
  4. Select "Chivalry: Medieval Warfare" from the games list in Steam. Click "Play", select "Launcher", click "Play" again.
  5. Press "Click to download subscribed Steam Workshop items" button in bottom-right corner. And wait until it finishes.
  6. Start the game and try to connect to the server again.

Yeah, it's a problem. Right now I'm preparing an update, which will allow the implementation of the dynamic distribution of objects on the map. Each time the map will look a little differently.
