Description
The Silverliner VI is a proposed bi-level train for SEPTA, the transit agency which services the Philadelphia area.

The bi-level cars were introduced as the Silverliner VI, which are accompanied by their engine, the ACS-64. The in-game train includes 1 ACS-64 engine + 4 Silverliner VI trailers. The length of this train is nearly a perfect fit for standard C:S train station platforms.

Any inaccuracies to the model/texture are due to a major lack of reference, as these trains are not yet in service.

In real life, as of July 11, 2018, congrats to the SEPTA ACS-64 locomotive for officially beginning service!

@Zaphod I posted this before hearing a little bit more news about the bilevel cars. I DID actually hear more since then, so I'm right there with you. I'll keep this as "proposed" until those pictures, though, just because I don't like putting in too much hype ahead of time.

I think the new SEPTA bilevel fleet is way more than just 'proposed' per your description, they are being assembled by CRRC in Springfield, MA sometime very soon. Probably going to be pictures online of the first completed car in a year or so if they plan to deliver by October 2019.

The Bombardier multilevels used on NJ Transit and MARC might be a better match dimensionally, as I believe that the CRRC bilevels are what SEPTA has in mind, as well as designed to fit the North River tubes' loading gauge.

@Connie is the best girl Thank you! I can triple-check, but yeah. I looked at the dimensions recently (for the engine), and it seems like I did it right. The only thing I could note is that squishing the ACS-64 just a teeny tiny bit made it look a little better, I think. But I'll have to play around with it to see where things lie. If I'm reading you correctly on the bi-level cars, though, maybe it could be that they're larger than they need to be. I'm not entirely certain, since I couldn't find proper dimensions on those cars (I used the Bombardier bi-level cars' dimensions in place of it). Or I could just be terrible at measurements. lol

I actually really like this; the bilevel cars are done great. I think it might actually be overscaled and that's where it's coming from.

@bsquiklehausen Definitely. I'll be sure to hit you up with an email when I get the chance. Your models are solid.

@djantir - You can use my ACS-6 as reference, or email me at hello at bsquiklehausen dot com if you want to get the template for my locomotive.

That's curious. I'll accept critique, though I used the dimensions provided of the ACS-64 through Wikipedia, unless those dimensions were wrong. I also used photo references, but there were no blueprints I could find (which seems to be a common problem for a lot of the models I'm most interested in including).

a tiny bit of critique; the ACS-64 is a bit stretched? if you want i have reference photos of IRL cities sprinters
