Description
A selection of weapons from the sandbox space-combat real time roleplaying game Starsector! Found here http://fractalsoftworks.com/

----------------IMPORTANT---------------

For the best results, please download and use Darkstars Defense Shields mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1365616918

The weapons can be used without, but you will be missing out on the damage system as described in the Features, leading to some weapons being less useful than they should be.
----------------IMPORTANT---------------

Features:

- 18 different weapons ranging from 1x1 large block to 5x5, each one with both turreted and fixed versions.

- Each weapon is recolourable

- Recoil animations!

- muzzle flashes!

- Soundeffects for each weapon from the original game Starsector!

- Fully mplemented Damage system! currently 'HE' type weapons (red explosion icon) do less damage to Darkstars defense shields but more to normal blocks, 'KE' type weapons (grey bullet icon) deal more damage to shields but less to normal blocks. Energy weapons (blue laser bolt icon) deal the same damage to both, same with the yellow fragmentation icon weapons (like the vulcan turret).


Future Features (ETA: Done when its done):

- More weapons! More energy and beam weapons, rockets and guided missiles, more massive cannons!

- EMP weapons!

- Eventually, maybe even a sandbox campaign set in the Starsector universe:

"You have been seperated from your salvage and mining fleet during travel through hyperspace, your ship, out of fuel and badly damaged has drifted into a starsystem on the edge of the sector, far from civilisation or rescue. You must fend off the AI drones that infest the system whilst salvaging important parts from abandoned stations and wrecks, put together a functional jump drive and enough fuel to get to safty and get out! However, along the way there may be riches tempting you to stay in the system so you can return home with enough resources and money to start your own fleet."

Please post any feedback you would like to give!
Specifically, ballance of damage and resource cost for both the turrets and their ammo would be very useful.
Im thinking of increasing the size of the weapons to fill their collision boxes better, feel free to comment on this idea!
Any bug reports as well!
Kind words are also nice :D

Known bugs:

- knock back from some of the more powerful weapons is a bit over the top, this afaik is a problem with the game atm and i cant fix it yet

Can you give every weapon 250 PCU? o: the balance is ok since most of these have lower range than 800m but they're all 1 PCU
