Roman textures for Atlantean Units

Description
Ave!

This small texture pack was made by me for the Atlantean infantry and cavalry units.

I used the materials, models and textures from Callistonian's "UMC Ancient Units pack" mod as a sort of library so to speak, credits for the original materials are also there.

I just wanted to give this proper Roman military feeling to the Atlanteans who just seemed like a mish mash of Gladiator and other unconventional units such as the Katapeltast.

What I changed was:

The Murmillo always using his Bronze texture and I also gave him a new shield and texture. Sadly I couldn't change his head because ES in their infinite wisdom for some reason decided it was a better idea to have him be casted as just 1 model and 1 texture.

The Arcus (Anim file without shield also included, just rename and replace it), Contarius and Katapeltast all share the same Auxiliary Armor texture as well as Equite shield, the Armor texture being provided by XLightningStormL from his "Expanded Mod".

The Turma only has the Auxiliary Armor because the Legionary head was turned backwards and I couldn't be bothered with to find the Auxiliary head model I used before, same thing with the shield altho it was just glitching through the horse's head. Regardless it looked bad so I decided to just stick it as it currently is.

The Fanatic has traded one of his Gladiator swords for a shield instead while the Destroyer has traded his Trident for a Norse sword, better at stabbing.

As an ending note, the textures are singular, that means that they remain the same no matter what upgrades are researched, at least for now until I figure something out or someone else does or makes new textures.

I've also included the Legionary anim file as well as all of the materials, models and textures used as by Callistonian's well placed suggestion.

I might update this mod in the future with a language pack that renames these units and the Atlanteans to Romans and again, if I figure out a way to give these units earlier age textures like vanilla.

Oh and I also couldn't change the Hero textures, at least for now.

Well the hamata is being used by the "Auxiliary" units like the Archer/Arcus for example.

And I also have an idea about the founding of Rome with Aeneas as the main protagonist and later Caesar under the Republic and finally as the Empire but not sure who to base it on exactly.

Anyway I don't really have the time or knowledge to make a campaign sadly right now but if I could I would since as I said, I have somewhat of an idea on how the story could unfold.

I mean, it is the Bronze age, David. Just not the historical version. Rather the classical Greeks' heavily warped and mythologized view of the period. The Age of Heroes. The Egyptians are about the only civ that appear as they should. The Greeks should be Mycenaean and have many more chariots. The Norse don't even exist yet unless you believe that the Sea Peoples were northern Europeans, and they were probably still Celtic rather than Germanic at this point.
Romans don't exist in this period yet either. That said, a campaign focusing around the Aeneid and later founding and early campaigns of Rome under Romulus would be nice.
Ignoring all that, I would agree that lorica hamata would look better. Especially with the limited texture quality.

Updated it but it was whatever if I added the textures or not because I also used models and materials from other units from AUP so yeah...

Oh, I see what you mean now. I don't normally play online so that's probably why it passed my mind.

Well, I mean the textures aren't included in this mod which is why it's desync sensitive. Anim mods will not be online compatible.

That's what I did dude haha.

Good to see you back making content for AoM. If you want, you can just take and rename the textures from AUP so this will be online compatible.
