Description
The legendary Mitsuharu Misawa was a warrior in the ring throughout his career. Misawa debuted in 1981 for AJPW, an organization in which he later would become President. Misawa founded Pro Wrestling Noah in 2000.

Inside the ring, Misawa was long considered one of the best wrestlers in the world. He had countless outstanding matches against the likes of Toshiaki Kawada and Kenta Kobashi, amongst others.

He was an AJPW Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion on five occasions, and held the GHC Heavyweight Championship three times.

Misawa passed away from injuries suffered in the ring in 2009.
