Deserted Island Sandbox

Description
I randomly had the idea to make this thing. Dunno why.

It started as some freeze-frame of a pirate battle, but before I even started building it with Rekt, we decided that that was a bad idea and just sort of did whatever to the map. What resulted was this nice-looking island, but I wasn't happy with it. So we put a treasure chest (all of the pieces in it have physics) and a shovel there. I was fairly happy with it at that point, but Rekt took it a step further and put a skeleton next to the treasure chest, saying it was the guy who dug it up.

I invited Iruy and eventually Fraston over to work on it too (ya know, the guys who I did the cookout map with), but Casper was offline throughout the entire build (which took two days, but I did it in the late afternoon and evening both days and I'm in a different time zone), so he didn't help on this one. Iruy built a boat (Fraston said it looked like an actual prop from the level editor menu; I agree), and that gave me the idea to explore the story of the guy whose skeleton is next to the treasure.

So, we added pieces of wood everywhere. And I mean everywhere. Then I built the guy a poor man's shack, and put a picture of his family ('cuz generic cheesy survival movie stuff) in it. Eventually, we got the build done.

The water is a little glitchy, but it's the best we could really get it, so it'll stay that way.

Enjoy!

Haha, yeah, it's a shame you can't join together groups of pieces and give them physics. Otherwise, the shovel probably would move. Glad you like it!

It gives the impression of a desolate island, yet there are still a lot of visually interesting details.
The parts of wrecked ships look especially cool.

P.S.

That very thin shovel that doesn't budge is a real surprise when you first run into it! XD
