This crop is in response to the Algae crop that comes with the game.
The built in Algae crop increases oxygen by 1 O2. That's the default so it doesn't show in game, but it does decrease the domes need for O2.

This Bioluminescent Algae Hydroponic Crop is designed by the NASA Sponsor and given to the community as a good will gesture.
It is available in game once you research the Utility Crop tech.
Available for new games and save games. Save games will need to destroy exiting hydroponics to see this crop, or build new hydroponics.

It does not provide much to eat, but is pretty to look at.
The crop also increases dome colonists health recovery by 10% per sol.
Use this crop to increase the Oxygen and Health in any dome in emergency situations, or to replace the need for Moxies.
Oxygen production is 2.5 per sol.
