HW: Mod - Wilderness

Description
~ IMPORTANT NOTICE ~

Wilderness is now part of !CGM: Planets Enhanced and will no longer be updated.

I am looking forward to maintaining Wilderness support within !CGM: Planets Enhanced and I hope all the current subscribers make the switch. I will leave this mod available to allow current games to be played out but in time this mod will be deleted.

Homeworlds with red tile blockers has yet to be implemented due to time constraints, and hopefully this feature will make an appearance within !CGM: Planets Enhanced in the future.

Mod Version: 1.1

[deep_gravelly_voice] Terrain, Wilderness owns it!

This mod overhauls tile blockers. Gone are the days of spending a millennium relentlessly clearing your homeworld of all tile blockers, only to find that once you break ground on your first new world, you haven't a clue on what to do about . . .

Now, your homeworld will have a few appropiate red tile blockers, as will all vanilla empires, including primitives. And, new worlds will have an assortment of appropiate yellow and red tile blockers.

Additional Red Tile Blockers
Persistent Volcano, Salt Pan, Icefield, Dense Forest and Dense Dark Forest (Ammonia worlds only).

Additional Yellow Tile Blockers
Grazing Wildlife, Jungle, Salt Flat, Wetlands, Giant Kelp, Sinkhole, Cold Desert, Forest and Dark Forest (Ammonia worlds only).

Planet Modifiers
Some planet modifiers now spawn tile blockers, for example, Impact Crater modifier now spawns impact crater tile blockers and a toxic dump can appear on Dump Worlds from Real Space - Stellar Expedition.

Compatibility
Wilderness has been written with support for Planet Diversity, though one small patch is still required to get the full benefit. Planet Diversity is not required for this mod to work.

There are a number of Real Space patches. Stellar Expedition tile blockers are fully suported. It is now possible to have Geothermal Activity appear on your homeworld.

Only one patch is required. Both Stellar Expedition patches include Real Space.

Guilli's Planet Modifiers is fully compatible and both mods compliment each other quite nicely. All Guilli's tile blockers are uniquely named so no conflict and they will only appear when a planet modifier is in use. The only tile blocker shared is Dense Forest and Guilli's Dense Forest will only appear with the planet modifier Dense Forests. Wilderness Dense Forest will appear throughout the galaxy on any suitable planet. There is a chance that both Dense Forest tile blockers will share a planet when Dense Forests modifier is in play.

Custom Empire Homeworlds
It's very easy to add Wilderness tile blockers to a solar system initialiser. An init_effect placed after the standard generate_start_buildings_and_blockers and your good to go.

init_effect = { generate_wilderness_blockers = yes }

Below are some sample empires with Wilderness support.

Bugs
This is the biggest mod I've written with 5 patches. There are also 3 empires and Wasteland World to update. Please be patient if it all goes pear shaped and report any bugs in the comments.

Please enjoy,
Hereward

@ZedD

No Starting Neighbour Systems edits a solar system initialiser. If No Starting Neighbour Systems included the init_effect that is described in the description above then no patch would be required and our two mods would would together perfectly.

Add "No Starting Neighbour Systems" patch pls

@Lex
Thanks for reaching out, my frustrations is hitting crittical. Been dying to have my first propper playthrough of Stellaris and with this mod I was almost there. I got to go drive my taxi for a few hours can I get back to you latter, it all sounds like a plan.

Since you pretty much use Planet Diversity as base, you could do the same Gatekeeper did, adapt your mod for ExNihil's engine, it would work both alone and together with our other mods, and that way you would keep it seperate and be responsible for your own mod. I would remove your new blockers from my mod's code if your mod were fully compatible, so your tile-blocker related files would overwrite mine. All that would be required is some team-work on discord, as Exnihil said its text only, and we could get you your own channel.

@Hereward: ok I understand your frustration and I'll think about a way for you to be able to tweak the blockers for the beta version of planet diversity and new worlds, meanwhile did you get to check that file I uploaded in the discord channel? If you were to figure out how that works, you would realise it allows you to tweak the blockers in a much better way than overwritting vanilla's file. You could edit it yourself, I would be more than happy to leave tile-blocker balancing to you.
