Description
Now equiped with docking mechanism!

Summary:

This sub is my try at reproducing the Flatbed from the movie Abyss. The nemesis of Cab 1! It is meant to be multifonctional but is mainly secialized in recovery and hauling of underwater equiment. You may use it to haul directly or by connecting winch from surface ship, like seen in the movie!

Specifications:
  • Crew/passenger: 1 driver 1 Operator.
  • Submerged Speed: 8.5m/s (my slowest!)
  • Underwater Lifting power: +500 units

Notable feature:
  • Auto Depth and Self Balancing. Done trough both balast and propeller, this allow extreme stability even when hauling stuff.
  • Top Hatch won't open when under water. Bottom hatch can be opened without flooding as long as top hatch is closed. Botton hatch now serve is now equiped with the new docking Hatch!!!
  • Two Arms equipped with Mag All. The right arm, controled from specialist seat, have all axis of freedom of movement. How it work is a bit inspired from inverse kinematic (IK) animation. Left Arm is more for making first contact and securing a lock with the target and is controled by the pilot.
