German U-Boat Type XXIII

The German Type XXIII Submarine were the first so-called electric boats to become operational. They were small coastal submarines designed to operate in the shallow waters of the North sea, the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea where larger Type XXI electric boats were at risk in World War 2. -Wikipedia

In Stormworks, this is a 1:1 size ratio submarine compared to the real version, the model is made to accuracy as much as possible and interiors are based on the real life blueprints.

Main Features:
-Two torpedoes with two settings. Setting 1. Is normal fast torpedo speed for bigger ships. Setting 2. Is a slower speed for smaller boats.

-Automatic Ballast depth control system, gone are the days where you have to individually press the ballast up and down buttons to control buoyancy and depth, instead just set the depth, and the ballast will automatically increase or decrease to get you to your chosen depth and stay at that depth.

-Full Interior, Main rooms include the engine room. the command centre, the conning tower control room, the residential area and torpedo room.

-Five stations, being automatic ballast station, Ballast station, Navigational station, Anchor station and the Main station ensuring everyone in multiplayer is occupied.

-Automatic turn on/off lights based on Time and Weather.

-No buttons required to open doors/hatches, they do so automatically on contact

How To Enter:
Enter via conning tower hatch by ladder (Top of cockpit). Hatches/doors open/close automatically if you're touching it for a certain amount of time.

-Credit to Tajin for help with the automatic ballast depth control system. Previously the Depth control does not reset to current depth, but to zero, with Tajin's logic assistance the depth control will now automatically reset to your current depth avoiding the need to manually set the depth.

- I don't recommend using the plane stabiliser, its there if you want to manually handle the submarine but don't.

-The submarine is unsinkable, you can exit and enter the sub while underwater without it filling with water thanks to the door system and pumps.

-Like my other submarines, manual control is implemented. Toggle the manual control button ON to control acceleration with W/S Keys. Manual control will automatically switch to "ON" if an object is detected close to the front or bottom of the submarine while in auto depth mode.

Updated: Added functional torpedoes. Warning it has a tendency to jam. Also added 3 deck mag all for missions and improve the handling of the U-Boat.
